History of the Quad Stacker

As well as being a machinist and part time inventor, Bill Brown is also a motor sport enthusiast.  Because of his outdoors hobbies, Bill built a 4 car garage to store his equipment.  It soon became apparent that his passion for these pastimes was greater than he originally anticipated, as he rapidly filled the new space he had created.

One day while attempting to move motorcycles out of the way to get to his hunting quad, Bill realized that there had to be a better way.  Upon returning from his hunting trip, and again moving the motorcycles to store the quads, he set out to produce the solution.

When Bill puts his mind towards a project, nothing gets in his way.  So, within a week the first Quad stacker was operating in Bill's Garage.  This initial prototype is several design generations from the marketable project we have today, but the basic premise remains.  It was a light weight, free standing lift that allowed a quad or motorcycles to be "stacked" above another.

Interest in Bill's invention was immediate.  Everyone who saw his quads stored on the lift asked him where he got it, and how they could get one.  Upon hearing the response, Bill new he was on to something, and began inquiring to a few trusted business advisors.  The lift generated a significant amount of interest.  It was a "market without a product".

The evlolution of the quad stacker began with the yellow lift in the center The second generation lift was a two beam design (left).  The unit on the right is what the Quad Stacker is the third generation.  Below is the design that will be on the market.
